Foundation Cow Herd

The solid foundation of outstanding Horned Hereford breeding females has been built over the years resulting in a current brood cow herd of 200 head. They have been greatly enhanced by the purchase of many top herd sires (click here). Our brood cows must produce quality calves that will meet the high demands set by the purebred and commercial beef producers they will be serving.

Each year 50 heifers are chosen from our program as replacements for the brood cow herd. We feel that strict culling and selection has continually increased the consistency and production capabilities of our cattle.
